Reference sheet

Read the paytable before the animation.

The paytable is where an individual game should state eligible combinations, awards, wager dependence and feature conditions. Similar labels can behave differently elsewhere.

Abstract paytable organised into symbol, rule and award columns

Payline

A game-defined ordered path through positions on the displayed reels.

Check: direction, starting reel, active-line rule and eligible symbol counts.

Ways

An alternative evaluation system that may count matching symbols on adjacent reels without fixed line shapes.

Check: adjacency, direction, reel coverage and whether positions multiply combinations.

Wild

A symbol that may substitute for specified symbols or carry another stated function.

Check: exclusions, reel restrictions, multipliers and whether it pays on its own.

Scatter

A label often used for a symbol evaluated outside ordinary lines or used as a feature trigger.

Check: required count, eligible reels and whether the symbol also has a direct award.

Feature

A separate game state or rule change activated under specified conditions.

Check: trigger, duration, changed reel set, reset conditions and awards.

Volatility

A description of the spread and variability of game outcomes.

It is not a timing signal. See the full note.

Theoretical RTP

A designed long-run average return across many game rounds.

It is not a forecast or guarantee for an individual session.
